This is a direct English translation of the Korean privacy page. If the two differ, the Korean version applies.
Effective date: October 3, 2026 · Version privacy-2026-10-03-v3
1. Information we collect
- When you join: your Google account email address, sign-in identifier, join date, last visit date, the date and time you agreed to the privacy notice, and the version of the notice you agreed to
- If you agree to the newsletter: whether you agreed, and the date and time of each agreement or withdrawal with the version of the wording you agreed to (history)
- All visitors: when you view a public page, Google Analytics collects visit statistics (see section 8). Information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email, is not sent.
- Your sign-in state and screen theme (light or dark) are stored in your browser's storage. Guide search runs inside your browser.
2. Why we use it
- To confirm members, keep you signed in and provide member files
- To send the newsletter (only to members who agreed. Sending has not started yet.)
- Visit statistics, to see which pages are read and improve the site
3. How joining works
The first time you sign in, the join screen shows the notice on collecting and using personal information. Joining is complete only after you agree to it (required). The newsletter is a separate, optional choice on the same screen.
4. Agreeing to the newsletter (advertising information)
- The newsletter is optional. If you do not agree, you can still join and use the site without limits.
- The check box starts empty. It counts as agreement only when you check it yourself.
- What we send: news of new guides and production notes, ebook and course information, and affiliate product introductions (advertising information)
- When we send it: there is no fixed schedule; we send it whenever there is something useful.
- When you agree or withdraw, the screen shows the result right away (sender AZTechnology, date, what was done). Each agreement and withdrawal is kept in the history with its date, time and wording version.
- You can withdraw at any time in My Library. When emails are sent, the subject will be marked "(Ad)" and every email will explain how to unsubscribe.
- No advertising email is sent between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. the next day without separate consent. Your newsletter consent is confirmed again every two years.
5. How long we keep it, and deletion
- Member information is kept until you leave.
- How to leave: press the leave button at the bottom of My Library (the page is in Korean) and confirm once more. It is done right away. Your member information, newsletter agreement and withdrawal history, and download records are deleted immediately.
- Sign-in records without completed agreement: records of people who signed in but did not agree to the privacy notice (email, identifier, visit date) do not show the email in the member list, and are deleted within 30 days of creation.
- To delete the account link record kept by the sign-in service (Supabase Auth) as well, send a request to the contact below. It is deleted after we check.
6. Purchases and files
Ebook payment is not turned on yet. When payment is connected, we will store the order identifier, member identifier, product, amount, payment status and download records. Card details are handled on the payment provider's screen, and this site does not store card numbers.
If a member with purchase records leaves: member information and newsletter history are deleted right away, but order and payment records and the download records of those orders are kept separately for five years under Korea's Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and then deleted. These records are used only for handling disputes and checks required by law, and for no other purpose. We will review this page again before turning payment on.
7. Outside services we use
- Supabase: sign-in and storing member information
- Google: sign-in, visit analytics (Google Analytics)
- Cloudflare: site hosting
- Google AdSense: when ads are turned on, ads are shown in guide articles (see section 9). Ads are not turned on now.
- YouTube: the outside player loads when you press a video's play button.
These services are run by companies outside Korea, and information may be processed abroad while they provide their features. Only the site owner can see member information, and it is not sold or given to third parties.
8. Visit analytics (Google Analytics) cookies
- Purpose: to learn how much each page is read and how visitors arrive, so the guides and the site can be improved. It is not used to personalize ads.
- What is collected: the address and title of the page viewed, the previous page, visit date and time, browser, device and operating system type, screen size, language, approximate location (country or city level), and the visitor cookie values stored in your browser (
_ga,_ga_*) - Where nothing is sent: visits to My Library (
/account/), the admin page (/admin/) and sign-in processing (/auth/) are not sent. Member emails and sign-in identifiers are never sent to Google Analytics. - Retention: kept according to Google Analytics' data retention setting, then deleted automatically.
- How to refuse: block or clear cookies in your browser settings. You can also install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Refusing does not limit your use of the site.
- How Google handles information is explained in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
9. Ads (Google AdSense) and ad cookies
This site may later show Google AdSense ads in guide articles. Ads are not turned on now. When ads are turned on, the points below apply, and this page will say so first.
- Third-party vendor cookies: third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's earlier visits to this site or other websites.
- Google advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie): Google's use of advertising cookies lets it serve ads to visitors based on their visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Details are in Google's advertising cookies page.
- Opting out of personalized ads: you can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings. Personalized-ad cookies of other third-party vendors can be turned off at www.aboutads.info.
- Other ad networks: if third-party vendors or ad networks other than Google start serving ads, their names and opt-out methods will be listed in this section.
- Consent: in regions where consent is needed, such as the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management tool asks for consent to ad cookies first.
- Where no ads are placed: My Library, the admin page, checkout, the privacy page, the affiliates and content page, and the contact page carry no ads.
- How Google uses information it gets from this site is explained in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
10. Your rights
